This Privacy Policy explains how Gventure Technology (“Gventure”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data on the free ZARMED University Admissions website and mobile app. Gventure is the digital marketing partner for ZARMED University, the Official Degree Awarding Institution & Campus Infrastructure Provider. Apollo MedSkills is the academic partner for relevant pathways (including ZAAP). GVantage is the management partner. Gventure markets the programme and runs this registration technology; it does not itself provide or award MBBS.
1. Why Apollo MedSkills matters for your data
Families often ask who ultimately uses their application. When you consent to partner sharing, your registration profile and documents are shared for the admissions process with ZARMED University and Apollo MedSkills — a brand associated with hospitals and healthcare education in India. That partnership is intentional: application data supports counselling, document review, and academic pathway onboarding in a healthcare-education context, not anonymous lead selling. Gventure hosts the portal; Apollo MedSkills and the University receive what they need to counsel and progress genuine applicants who opted in.
2. Data we collect
- Identity & account: name, email, Google account identifiers / profile photo (if you sign in with Google), registration ID.
- Contact: mobile number in E.164 form, verification timestamps, preferred contact time, city / nationality where you provide them.
- Academic & documents: NEET preferences and year; uploaded or camera-captured files (for example NEET scorecard, Class 12th mark sheet, passport pages, photograph); machine-extracted fields from those documents where verification runs (for example NEET roll / marks, passport number).
- Consent records: timestamps for privacy consent, partner-sharing consent, and optional marketing opt-in.
- Technical & security: device / browser logs, IP-related security signals, OTP or missed-call challenge metadata needed to stop fraud.
- Application progress: status, admission stage, counsellor notes shared back into the portal, fee-package choices you confirm (fees themselves are not taken on this portal).
3. How we protect against identity copying
Impersonation harms real students. We apply the following safeguards as part of normal processing:
- Email addresses are unique. An email already registered to one student account cannot be used to open another registration. This stops someone from “copying” an identity by reusing another applicant’s Gmail.
- Phone numbers are verified. We confirm you control the number via missed-call or OTP before registration advances. Verified numbers are tied to the account so another person cannot quietly attach your phone to a fake profile.
- Document checks. Where automatic recognition runs (for example NEET PDFs or passport pages), we use it to confirm the file looks like the expected document for the registering student. Wrong or someone else’s documents can be flagged for replacement.
These measures are described further in our Terms of Use.
4. Why we collect it (purposes)
- Create and secure your free registration account.
- Verify email (via Google sign-in) and mobile number.
- Send brochure and transactional messages (email / SMS / WhatsApp counselling where you engage).
- Enable document upload and status tracking.
- Share consented application data with ZARMED University, Apollo MedSkills, and GVantage for admissions counselling and academic pathway guidance.
- Prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, and identity misuse.
- Improve portal reliability and answer support requests.
5. Legal bases & consent
Where required, we rely on your explicit checkboxes at registration: agreement to this Privacy Policy, and consent to share application details with University / Apollo MedSkills / Gventure partners for counselling. You may also opt into marketing separately. Without privacy and partner-share consent, we cannot complete registration counselling on this portal.
6. Sharing — who receives your data
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as needed for the purposes above:
- ZARMED University — admissions decisions, campus / programme administration.
- Apollo MedSkills — academic partnership counselling, pathway and coaching-related onboarding tied to the published programme (trusted hospital / healthcare-education brand context).
- GVantage — University management partner operations related to your application.
- Processors we use strictly to run the service — for example SMS / missed-call OTP, transactional email, cloud hosting, and analytics needed for security. Processors are instructed not to use your data for their own marketing.
- Authorities if required by law or to protect students against fraud.
7. Where data is stored & how long
Data is stored on systems controlled by Gventure for this admissions portal (and by subprocessors under contract). We keep your account and documents while your application is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so the University / Apollo MedSkills can complete counselling or audit trails. You may request deletion as described below; some limited records may be retained where law or fraud prevention requires it.
8. Security
We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), private storage for uploaded documents, and verification challenges on email and phone. No online system is perfectly secure; please protect your Google account and do not share OTP or missed-call codes.
9. Your rights
- Request access to or correction of your registration data.
- Request account and data deletion via our Delete account page.
- Withdraw marketing opt-in (transactional admission messages may still be needed).
- Ask questions about partner sharing with Apollo MedSkills / the University.
Contact info@zarmeduniversity.com or marketing@gventure.net, or call +91-9484952765.
10. Children
This portal is intended for students (and parents assisting them) pursuing undergraduate MBBS admission. If you believe a child under the applicable age of digital consent registered without appropriate guardian involvement, contact us so we can review the account.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy when partners, verification rules, or laws change. The “Last updated” date will change. Material updates may also be highlighted at next login or registration.
